Another First

We took Braden out for a trip down a very small "hill" on his sled. He seemed to like it. Enjoy the video for now. Once I transfer the photos from today I'll put some of those up as well.

Merry (First) Christmas!!

Santa decided to bring Braden a couple gifts, despite the fact that he was up screaming almost all night. I promised him a lump of coal once he's old enough to not put it directly in his mouth...

Belated birthday wishes

Sorry, work has been busy and I have been lax in posting updates. Below are pictures from Braden's 6 month birthday "party" complete with cake and candle (as always). Look for another post shortly with a lot more pictures!

Feeding time, Part 2

Braden seems to enjoy feeding time as you can see below. He likes to get more on his face than in his mouth however. Oh, and he also like to show off his teeth.

Yes, we're still alive

Sorry about the lack of updates. We've spent more time out of the state during the past month than we have at home. So here's a brief time line of what has happened since we last posted.

Braden's first plane ride. He insisted on listening in to the DVD we were trying to watch.

Real food

Per the pediatrician's directions, we have started down the exciting road of semi-solid foods! I have seen the path of destruction a hurricane creates, and Braden creates a mess second only to a category 5 storm. As you can see from the pictures, this is clearly his favorite activity of the day...

Four month check-up

Braden lived through another pediatrician visit. Everything checked out fine, and he even did ok with the shots. He is growing at a good rate staying a bit above average on the length and weight charts.

Weight: 15 lbs 7 oz
Length: 25.5 inches

Happy 4 months!

Yep, the big guy is 4 months old! To keep with tradition, we had to have cake in his honor. Too bad his present tomorrow involves 3 shots and a oral vaccine when he visits the doctor. Just don't tell him...
